Experience
At Milliman, Markus has been involved in the following consulting activities in the area of P&C and life insurance:
- Several projects related to IFRS 17 that involved documentation, actuarial tool testing, and requirement engineering
- Industrialisation/automation of recurring actuarial/reporting processing
- Analysis of IFRS 17 public disclosures
- Analysis of use cases for actuaries using Generative AI
- Guarantee reserve calculations
Before joining Milliman, Markus worked for two years as a Life Pricing Actuary in the actuarial department of a Swiss insurer. Markus holds a PhD in Economics from the ETH of Zurich and is a full qualified Actuary SAA.
